February 28th is the designated "Rare Disease Awareness Day" across the world. The main objective of Rare Disease Day is to raise awareness amongst the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients' lives.
Join us in a dress down day on Rare Disease Day in support of the Dup15q Alliance and children who have been diagnosed with the rare genetic disorder Dup15q.
Get your office to sponsor a fundraiser, where they make a donation to the Dup15q Alliance in order to have a "jeans" day at work! By becoming a fundraiser for the Dup15q Alliance, you will help more families affected by Dup15q Syndrome, and you'll help your friends feel good about doing good.
Starting a fundraiser is easy to do, and it's fun. We'll even give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. With your help we can ensure we continue to provide family support, promote awareness, research and targeted treatments for Dup15q Syndrome.
The suggested donation is $5 in honor of dup15q.
We can help you set up your fundraiser page! Email Believe@dup15q.org
